Key Role:
Serve in the quantitative analysis field and work with senior staff to resolve a wide range of operations research (OR) issues. Develop solutions independently by demonstrating and applying knowledge of and experience with OR. Define, design, and develop systems requirements, map input and output processes, capture relationships among parameters of complex systems, and develop measures of system health and performance. Develop predictive models of system performance and guide decision makers towards optimal design. Perform quantitative analysis using tools of the systems engineering trade.
Basic Qualifications:
-Knowledge of standard research techniques, statistical analysis, and data compilation
-Knowledge of commonly used PC applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
-Ability to select, analyze, and present data and information in written, oral, or graphical forms
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-Pursuing a BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with the advanced use of Microsoft Excel and Access
-Ability to take poorly defined problems and convert them into requirements for which practical solutions can be defined
-Ability to exhibit flexibility, initiative, and innovation to succeed in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment and compose client deliverable quality documentation, analysis, and reports
-Ability to be highly detail-oriented and organized
