Our new Appleton Clinic has a great opportunity for an Orthoptist . This position offers a competitive salary and clinic hours! Administers diagnostic orthoptic tests, performs therapeutic orthoptic procedures, and provides instruction to patients with correctable vision focusing defects, under the medical direction of a licensed ophthalmologist.

  • Completion of a four-year baccalaureate degree.
  • Candidates must be AOC board eligible with demonstration of passing scores on written, oral and practical board examinations within two years.
  • Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
  • The ability to represent the organization and serve consumers in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the organization and its services.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to work collaboratively with coworkers, physicians, children, and their families.
