ELS is hiring for the position of Maintenance in Wautoma, Wisconsin.

Job Description: Lake of the Woods Campground is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Maintenance Level 1 for the upcoming seasonal period, with a focus on maintaining the campground's pristine environment and assisting in various tasks to enhance the overall camping experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Leaf Blowing: Keep the campground's pathways, common areas, and recreational spaces free from leaves and debris.

Mowing: Perform regular mowing of designated areas to maintain a neat and tidy appearance throughout the campground.

Campsite Clean-Up: Ensure campsites are clean, orderly, and welcoming for arriving guests. Remove litter and debris as needed.

Event Setup and Take Down: Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment for campground events, ensuring a smooth and organized experience for participants.

Grounds Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of outdoor amenities such as picnic areas, fire pits, and play structures.

General Maintenance Tasks: Undertake various maintenance tasks as assigned, which may include painting, minor repairs, and other duties to uphold the campground's standards.

Qualifications

Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment, including leaf blowers and lawn mowers. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment. Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and prolonged periods of outdoor activity. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • High school diploma or the equivalent experience.

  • 1-3years of direct technical work experience in applicable areas, including irrigation repairs, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.

  • Ability tolift upto 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.

  • Ability to use technology to clock in and for training modules.

  • Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.

  • Willingto be on call for emergencies that arise after hours.
