Airgas/Red-D-Arc is a large business in Rentals of Welding Equipment and Generators Appleton WI. We are professional, collaborative, data-driven and our goal is to Hire the best so we can Promote the best in Business.

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Technician to join our team. The right candidate will be able to make repairs and service equipment within a manufacturing environment.

• Diagnose, repair, test and calibrate machines for rent or sale per daily schedule.

• Ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks on power generation equipment

• From a company computer, create workshop orders with details of diagnosis, repairs and parts required for each machine.

• Assemble electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment and accessories for rental and transfer shipments.

• Scan and process shipments per Company procedure.

• Experience in electrical and gas powered engines

• Operate a forklift, pallet jack or other necessary material handling equipment to perform shop duties.

• Required to service equipment and customers off-site as needed.

• Assists with parts and equipment inventories as needed.

• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines

• Must be organized and have great communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• HS Diploma or equivalent required

• 2-3+ years of related technical experience

• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

• Good communication skills.

• Manual dexterity.

• Able to work well with others.

• Good critical thinking skills.

• Highly organized.

MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER LICENSE

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, TRAINING
Valid state driver's license.
Vendor/Manufacturer School Certificates of Training
