We are seeking a Lead Cardiovascular Sonographer to:
At UW Health, you will have:
Education:
Minimum - Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) approved ultrasound program, associate degree in Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, and/ or relevant health sciences field.
Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound, Radiology, Biological Sciences, or relevant health sciences field.
Work Experience:
Minimum - Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in a lab performing echocardiography and/or vascular imaging. Progressive experience with supporting successful completion of either an IAC Echo or Vascular accreditation.
Preferred - Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in a lab performing echocardiography and vascular imaging. Serving in a lead role in at least one successful completion of IAC accreditation application.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum -
* Registered in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound (RDCS or RCS and RVT or RVS)
* Basic Life Support/CPR.
Preferred - Registered in Advanced Cardiac Sonography (ACS)
