Schedule: 1st shift | Monday - Friday
Pay: $15/hr.
Essential tasks:
- Review customer requests and identify details of equipment issues to be resolved
- Disassemble machines to examine parts for wear or defects, using hand or power tools and measuring devices
- Conduct diagnosis of issues according to customer specifications
- Communicate with or perform rework to ensure successful and efficient repair of units
- Repair laptop or desktop units according to requirements, using hand or power tools and measuring devices
- Reassemble machines after making repairs or replacing parts
- Analyze equipment performance assess equipment functioning
- Clean or adjust mechanical parts to maintain machines' operating efficiency and to prevent breakdowns or repeat return for repair
- Install and configure new equipment, including operating software or peripheral equipment as required
- Read and research specifications, such as blueprints, charts, or schematics, to determine machine settings or adjustments
- Maintain repair parts inventories and place orders for any additional parts needed for repairs
- Run necessary tests
- Perform quality check procedure
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor and manager
