Computer Repair Technician job details:
Schedule: 1st shift | Monday - Friday
Pay: $15/hr.

Essential tasks:
  • Review customer requests and identify details of equipment issues to be resolved
  • Disassemble machines to examine parts for wear or defects, using hand or power tools and measuring devices
  • Conduct diagnosis of issues according to customer specifications
  • Communicate with or perform rework to ensure successful and efficient repair of units
  • Repair laptop or desktop units according to requirements, using hand or power tools and measuring devices
  • Reassemble machines after making repairs or replacing parts
  • Analyze equipment performance assess equipment functioning
  • Clean or adjust mechanical parts to maintain machines' operating efficiency and to prevent breakdowns or repeat return for repair
  • Install and configure new equipment, including operating software or peripheral equipment as required
  • Read and research specifications, such as blueprints, charts, or schematics, to determine machine settings or adjustments
  • Maintain repair parts inventories and place orders for any additional parts needed for repairs
  • Run necessary tests
  • Perform quality check procedure
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor and manager
Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of computer repair/assembly experience. Additional requirements include troubleshooting, performing QC checks, working in a quiet environment, and Microsoft Office experience.
