Overview

This Product team, part of Corporate Baking and Investment Banking Tech/Post Trade Automation Technology, has a purpose to support the platform for DTE FISS (Fixed Income Trade flow middle office application), APPIX (Cash Payment System), Account Management (Deutsche Bank Securities Inc.'s Official Stock Record application), and Broadridge's Impact (Subledger, Clearance, and Settlements System). You will be working full stack Java related technologies, Oracle Program Language (PL)/ Structured Query Language (SQL), Unix Scripting, Perl Scripting, C, C++, dBusMQ/IBM MQ/JMS and focusing and implementing re-usable web application framework using User Interface Technologies like Angular, Node JS. Design and develop dynamic rules-based software engines utilizing JRules, Drools API, Java, and Scala, and integrate systems with regulatory business domain specific language constructs. What You'll Do

  • Work as part of a delivery team, collaborating with others to understand and capture requirements, analyze and refine stories, design solutions, implement them, test them and support them in production

  • Building and maintaining batch process to process data using Java, Spark Scala, Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle PL/ SQL

  • Web Application development and maintenance using Java technology stack, Angular, Java Script

  • Develop and enhance Spring based services and Hibernate data access layers using Domain Driven Design and command query responsibility segregation pattern (CQRS) principles in Java

  • Coordinating work, dependencies, and resources

  • Provide L3 support as point of escalation for Production issues

Skills You'll Need

  • Knowledge of Java programming language, Angular JS, and one or more databases (Oracle required), framework, and Scala/C++ programing languages, Unix Shell Scripting, ORACLE PL/SQL, dBusMQ/IBM MQ/JMS, Perl Scripting, SAP Business Objects

  • Educated to Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent qualification/work experience

  • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, GIT Bitbucket, and Agile methodology

  • Understanding of back-end design, including REST services, SQL data access

  • Desire to write robust, maintainable & re-usable code with practical experience of delivering good quality code within enterprise scale development (continuous integration/continuous development)

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Experience with cloud technologies (Google cloud, AWS, Azure etc.)

  • Experience of container technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker

  • Experience in other programing languages, specifically Java would be helpful

  • Behavior Driven Development, particularly experience of how it can be used to define requirements in a collaborative manner, ensure that the team builds the right thing and create a system of living documentation

  • Knowledge gained in Financial Services environments, for example products, instruments, trade lifecycles, regulation, risk, financial reporting or accounting

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 and $142,250.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
