The Role

Fulfill construction and industrial customer product orders in our Wire Department. Utilize specialized equipment to measure, cut, assemble, and ship high-grade wire and conduit products to customer specifications. Work with a growing, high-performing team in a fast-paced environment. There is a physical aspect to the role, and you'll be active and moving throughout the workday.

The Perks

What We Need From You

  • Ability to work a 3:30 pm to 12:00 am work shift (Monday - Friday)
  • Basic computer system knowledge
  • Previous forklift experience is a plus

The Day-to-Day

Receive and complete training/equipment certifications to support inbound and outbound operations safely and effectively.

Inbound Operations:

  • Receive incoming copper and aluminum wire shipments and verify their quantity and quality.
  • Use wire cutting equipment to accurately cut wire to specified lengths, following product specifications.
  • Receive, inspect, store, and pick electrical materials including conduit, PVC, channel, and cable tray.
  • Ensure proper labeling of tag number, organization, and storage of the materials for easy retrieval.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through WMS transactions including footage marking management.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishing the inventory as needed.
  • Inspect wire cuts and materials for quality and accuracy, reporting any defects or discrepancies.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality assurance throughout the handling process.
  • Prepare materials for outbound shipments including picking, packing, shipping labels, packing lists, and staging.
  • Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, coilers, spoolers, compartments, and A-frames.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
