Job Summary

The Power Tools & Lifting segment of Ingersoll Rand has an opening for a Senior Territory and Direct Sales Manager located in Dallas, TX. This role will have responsibility for both Direct Sales and Distribution Sales in the TX and surrounding Markets. The Direct Sales team is comprised of a Dallas, TX based team with market knowledge and technical support abilities, selling into both the local market, but also through a broader customer base around the US. This leader is responsible for both the overall results of Direct Sales, including supervision of the inside and outside sales individuals, and through independent distribution in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coach, & develop the team.
  • Effectively recruit team members.
  • Manage assigned channel partners/customers to drive results through the team.
  • Meet or exceed team targets identified to drive revenue growth.
  • Proactively contact current and potential customers for high level relationships.
  • Partner with marketing on demand generation activities for adequate pipeline.
  • Utilize all standard work tools/CRM for documentation and follow up.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years' experience in a sales and service environment required.
  • 3+ years' experience of leadership experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office computer applications required. Excellent interpersonal skills; telephone and written
  • Ability to communicate in a technical matter

Travel & Work Arrangement/Requirements

Hybrid work arrangement and onsite at the Dallas, TX location on weekly basis

Ability to travel 25% or more as needed
